As we enter our third season with Brooklyn-based Battewear, designer Shinya Hasegawa continues to produce an excellent collection inspired by vintage surf and outdoor wear. This season brings back some classics such as the Reach Up Sweatshirt and the Warm Up Fleece while also adding new pieces like our personal favorite, the Scout Anorak, and Work Shirts in three different color plaids. Conceived from a love for vintage clothing and a desire to create garments that will stand the test of time, orSlow was founded in 2005 by Ichiro Nakatsu. Taking cues from American work wear and military garments produced in the 50's and 60's, the collection is simple yet superior in terms of fabric and construction. In our first delivery we've received some of the brand's most iconic pieces including their Standard Denim 105, US Army Trouser, 1950's Coverall and both the 50's Western Shirt and Button Down in used denim wash. With the arrival of our second delivery from Gitman Bros. Vintage we can't help but get excited about the upcoming fall season. Sporting a nice mix of Japanese flannel, jacquard, tartans, checks and prints can you blame us? Take a look at the latest arrivals as well as the entire collection here.
